These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website monitoring service at this site (the “Service”) operated by Healthcheck IT (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Healthcheck IT periodically checks the web URLs you configure, records the results (status codes, errors, timing), and presents them through a dashboard with real-time updates and optional email notifications. Checks are performed from multiple regions.

Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your account information accurate.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.
• If you use “Sign in with Google”, you authorize us to receive your Google account’s verified email address and account identifier for the purpose of creating and accessing your account. You may revoke this authorization at any time in your Google account’s security settings; to keep using the Service afterwards, set a password or contact us.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass or harm any person or website, including pointing checks at a target to generate unwanted traffic or to overload it. If a website owner asks us to stop checking their site, we may remove those URLs;
• Use the Service to attack, disrupt, or probe systems, or to attempt to access private or internal network addresses (the Service refuses to check non-public addresses);
• Circumvent rate limits, bot protection, or other abuse-prevention measures;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of third-party rights;
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our prior written agreement.

Plans and limits

The Service is offered in a free tier and paid tiers. The free tier allows a limited number of monitored URLs (currently 4) and paid tiers allow more (currently 50). We may adjust these limits from time to time; material reductions will be announced in advance.

Billing and subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe. We never see or store your payment card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and stops future charges.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law, unless we state otherwise.
• We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable advance notice.

Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available and will perform maintenance from time to time, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service itself.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the monitoring results will be complete, timely, or accurate, or that detected downtime will be reported without delay.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you use only the free tier, zero).

Termination

• You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or fail to pay fees when due. Where practicable, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the problem.
• Upon termination, your monitored URLs and account data are deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; if you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
